Let me tell you. This place is all heart, quality, love and most of all food. From the moment you enter this wonderful place you are transported to an Italians kitchen, complete with mother son etc. they guide you through the menu, they are honest and caring. The wine is perfect the Decor is simple in a good way, there is multiple levels and the food is finger licking good. Try everything leave a tip and know you contributed to a place that is truly rare!

We loved this family-run restaurant. We were the only foreigners in for lunch. The restaurant had been recommended by our Italian friend. We shared a bistecca with roast potatoes and a bottle of house red. They offered us a starter of aubergine and chicken liver pate. The starter was delicious, and we don't normally like chicken liver pate. The Florentine steak and potatoes were absolutely out of this world! And the house wine was really good too. The family was really friendly and very hospitable. We would highly recommend this restaurant.
Really good beef carpaccio and Florentine Steak 🥩 we ate everything and came back for 2nd time within 3days stay in Florence.

Okay so we had the beef (shared 1Kg for two), with potatoes and it was excellent. This is a family restaurant and you can truly feel it. The tiramisu with no coffee but a special wine was just PERFECT! We had a lovely time, really good wine and the food was amazing. Definitely a recommendation!

Great place, wonderful attention we didn't speak Italian but they explain us the menu, they have a delicious salami cake that I had never try something like this before, is extremely delicious.
If you want to have a really Italian food experience this is a most!
Highly recommended this family run restaurant. Matteo with his parents gave us the best food, wine and service even when we spoke no Italian. We were back for 3 nights in a row. It was just perfect! We would definitely come back when we visit Florence again! Grazzie x
Really great homemade food! Matteo was very kind explaining the whole menu. We had pappa al pomodoro with truffle, fried eggplant balls with nduja tomato dip, tagliolino with ricotta, ravioli with buffala & zucchini, and tiramisu. Everything was amazing!
